Soon with added text appeal

It is planned that the man of the match poll voting will be extended to include phone text votes for those that don't have internet access.

If you are subscribed to the club text service you will soon get details, which if you are reading this you don't actually need, but I am sure you all know someone who does.

FCUM at Frickley

Many apologies for the delay.  Poll results from the forum which I could create more easily given the circumstances are:

Sam Ashton 2, Liam Foster 1, Simon Garner 4, Danny Warrender 6, Davvid Chadwick 6, Adam Turner 4, Adam Carden 10, Kyle Wilson 5, Jerome Wright 2, Danny Williams 1.

These votes will be added to this poll, so please do not replicate your vote, unless you are the kind of person who votes more than once anyway.

Kendal Match Poll

I have to start by saying well played Kendal Town, a well organised performance which didn't allow us to play as we can.  That said I was delighted to see that no FC player used the excuse of not being allowed to play to disappear into the background.

In view of this I have added a new option to the man of the match poll, in the shape of an option to say that "no one stood out",  I would be delighted to hear your opinion on this option whether you think it is a good or a bad idea.  Please use either the contact feature on here or the unofficial forum thread to let me know.

 Thanks.

September Player Of the Month

Thank you for voting in the September Match Polls.  Please keep voting in the October polls.

If you didn't vote, why not?  If you went to every game, one game or just caught some on the radio broadcast, you are a supporter, a member of the supporters network and a valued voter.  There is no reason why a poll should have less than two thousand votes, unless there is a lack of internet access capability.

Anyway the winner of Player of the month for September, making an immense difference to the back four since he joined the club is DANNY WARRENDER.

Subject to the match taking place he will receive his award before kick off on Saturday against Witton Albion.

branch web and email details

I am working behind the scenes to make the contact details page as accurate as possible.  Some of you have responded to requests on branch forums, for which I thank the individuals concerned.  For others I have sent an email via an address with FC United in it; by way of verification for those who have got one and supplying not enough information to those who haven't.  If the information is correct please just reply YES if you still use the email address but do not wish it to be used on here please reply NO.  I will assume all addresses that do not reply to be out of date.

I have also tried to access the web sites that were listed, and have deleted those that were not found.  If I do you a disservice, I can be pm'd via the unofficial forum.

May I now offer a big thank you to all those who have taken the trouble to contact me regarding this information.  The details now being held on the branch details page are, to the best of my knowledge the most accurate listings of organised supporter groups available.  We hope in the not too distant future to be contacting you with regards to possible events.

If you know of any error or omission, please feel free to let me know.

Return to Formby

Or go there for the first time, suit yourself.

The FC United Youth Team play at Formby in the Northv West Youth Alliance tomorrow (Sunday).  If your hangover will allow it there should be plenty of goals to cheer on.

Having lost 8-3 at Stalybridge in their previous league outing we can expect them to create chances but leave lots of room at the back.

August Player of the month

As a result of the A-Line sponsorship starting in September, a trophy is needed for David Chadwick for his efforts throughout August.  As the sponsorship is worth more than the value of the trophies previously presented, I want to try and get something better.  Pledges can be made via the forum and collected over the weekend; Nantwich or AFC Liverpool.

 OR!!!

Meet me at reception at 1pm tomorrow with a nice crisp £10.00 donation to SN funds and you could be on the pitch presenting it.  If you can miss me you won't be able to miss the trophy, it's MASSIVE
